PERSONALITY

PERSONAL QUOTE: "Work as though you would live forever, and live as though you would die today"
FIRST IMPRESSION: On first impression Owen comes across a bit harsh. He's often seen as the typical grease monkey. Rough around the edges and almost standoffish.
BEHAVIOR: Owen is very guarded. He doesn't let many people close and because of that he's not overly forthcoming with anything about himself. It is obvious, however, that he'll do anything to help another person. He's very up and down. At one moment he'll appear the happiest, most easy going guy and the next he'll be the haunted man he is deep inside.
ATTITUDE: Owen has a very 'live for today' attitude but not to the point of being reckless. He tries to see the best in every situation and get the most out of every day he wakes up to. His sunshine is often dimmed by his past when something comes up that reminds him of where he came from but he fights to get back to the now.
ASPIRATIONS: owning his own successful business, having a family
FEARS: never finding a place he belongs
INTERESTS: cars, music, physics, mathematics, gardening, cooking
SEXUAL PREFERENCE: bi-sexual preferring women
STATUS: single

HISTORY

The first memory Owen has is being surrounded by a group of women fussing over him and asking him all sorts of questions. He had been dropped off at a hospital with no identification and no sign of who had left him. The nurses who saved him gave him a name and a birthday and that day, Owen Archer was born. He spent the next fifteen years of his life in the foster care system never staying in one place more than a few years. He became very good at packing up and moving on without looking behind him. He also rarely had time to make true friends so he never built very deep relationships. He became very adept at taking every day for what it was knowing that tomorrow could be completely different.

The one constant in his life was cars. He was fascinated with everything about them. He made it a point to learn everything he could about any car he could and it was no surprise when he fell into an occupation involving cars. Landing in Akron, Ohio he started what became a fairly steady job as a mechanic. He loved the job and it seemed to be the place for him. He began working on making an actual life. He had finally become settled when everything blew up in his face. That's when he packed up everything he had and headed for the west coast. To this day he will not talk about or even admit what happened. All he'll say is that he needed a change.

Landing in Drama Point Owen really had nowhere to go Living out of his car he was looking for a job. He didn't exactly have a resume but he could prove himself to anyone if they'd just give him a chance. Meeting Paige seemed almost too perfect. With little to go on she gave him a job and opened her house to him. Six months later and the two are very close, Owen also very fond of her son. He was loving where he was and what he was doing though he tried not to think that maybe, just maybe, this was where he was meant to be.

The Tenant
Paige swore up and down she would never have a stranger live with her. And yet when this amazing mechanic rolled into town with no job, no place to live, and some weird power over her little ball of energy son - she couldn't help herself. She offered the guy a place to live and a job. That was six months ago. These days Paige & her Tenant have become good friends. They have breakfast together, dinner together, he babysits Andrew Jr. without complaint and makes Paige's life a lot easier. She doesn't know much about his past and she figures it was rough, but personally she couldn't be more thankful for him. Often she thinks her belated husband sent this good man her way.
